Our History.

Founded in 1987, this two generation family business has operated for 24 years and we are proud that the new generation of Tagliabue’s have taken on leading management roles at Rainbow Wood Veneer.

Coming from a long family lineage dating back to the 1920’s specialized in working with wood veneer, wood products, splicing and dying veneers. Our founder’s
personal experience in the veneer business dates back to the 1950’s. Our Rainbow Wood Veneer founder is part of a family owned and operated veneer slicing and dying company business in Europe.

Who We Are.

We are a leader in veneer products, two generations strong in the knowledge and expertise of veneer products, solutions and trends.  We are a manufacturer & supplier of specialty decorative veneers & plywood panels used in the construction of leading retail store chains, store fixtures, hotels,custom furniture and kitchens. Our state of the art plant located in Woodbridge, Ontario allows us the opportunity to service our  distinguished clientele across Southern Ontario. Also, our commitment to the environment has influenced us in obtaining our FSC® Certification.

Veneer Products

Storage and Handling
All wood veneers are subject to humidity, UV light and atmospheric conditions. We recommend you take the necessary precautions in storing and handling of the veneer products.

Limitations
All veneer products are not recommended for exterior usage or for direct applications to drywall, plaster, and concrete or similar products. All dyes used are sensitive to UV light and will fade or change colour with prolonged exposure to UV light especially if the veneer has not been protected.

Please Note:
Wood is a natural material and has variances in both grain configuration and stain acceptance in the same log. They are susceptible to change prompted by exposure to time, light and heat.
